I love it when you:

I saw this on another blog and just could help but jot down a million reasons of things that Jade does that just captures my heart all over again. Here's a couple.

I love it when you:
  • Tell me "Momma Pretty"- though pointing at my jewelry
  • Grab my hand and say, "Momma HAND!- Get up!"
  • Belly laugh at Sebastian- especially his barking
  • Look me in the eye to make sure I fully understand you
  • Get so excited when I pick you up at Donna's- I see you through the window yelling "MOMMA!!"
  • Say, "We're Home" when we pull into the drive-way
  • Ask for something shaking your head yes and saying, "Yes, OK!" before we get a chance to respond!
  • Lay on "Momma and Dadda bed" in the mornings to watch cartoons.
  • Say, "Momma HOME" when I walk in the door- and run all over the house with excitement!
  • Take care of your "Night, Night" (His lamb he sleeps with) by asking it if it's sleepy or hungry
  • Can read pages in your books to me- you surprise me every time
  • Ask me to kiss your (whatever is hurt) to make it feel better, "Momma kiss it"
  • Say your please and thank you's- you make me so proud!
  • Quiz me like we've quizzed you, "Momma what it is?--- (Tiger)--- Good Job!"
  • Turn your head when I ask for a kiss- so I'll kiss your cheek- your such a boy!! So then I have to ask for a kiss on the lips!
  • Act older than you really are- cause your always My Baby!!

So much fun in 1 week!

What a fun week!! To start the week- Uncle Jack came to stay with us during his Spring Break. Jade loves Unci Jack and Amanda. Jade would say, "Go home- see Unci Jack- see Amanda?" Uncle Jack is a Junior at A&M and will graduate next December!! Whooohooo! Amanda is Jack's girlfriend of a year and a half we all just love. Amanda graduated from A&M last December and is awaiting a call to get into Nursing school. Uncle Jack suggested that we go to Cabella's and show Jade all the animals- what a great idea!! Jade loved it. All he could talk about after was "see elephant- I not scared- Momma not scared- Daddy scared?" They have this HUGE life size elephant that Jade got scared of when we walked up the 1st time- but then Dadda held him and "he not scared". Jade loved all the animals and fishy. I hightly suggest it to anyone with kids!

And then the yard!! What a ball Daddy had! Jason re-sodded our whole backyard and it looks great! Jade really loves it when we turn on the sprinkler system. Golf clubs and water- who could ask for more fun?! The picture is of Jade helping Daddy with repairs! What a handman of a Daddy we are so lucky to have! Jade has also become some what of a pro at drinking out of "Momma and Dadda water" Aka- water bottles!

What's New?

Starting with Jade- what a talker! "Momma where are you?" "I see the big truck", "That car is blue" but by far my favorite and most consistent are some of Jade's first words- which we say every night, "Amen" followed by "Night-Night- love you" The funniest- Jade loves to sing, oh but not Mom's songs (Country) he likes Daddy's radio, and tells Dad "make it loud!" I am almost embarrassed to write the verses he likes best but if you listen to rap/rock- whatever it is, you'll get it- "Bed,Bed,Bed- goto", "With you, with you, with you" He gets so excited when these songs come on! With the weather showing it's good days- we've been outside more making reality that no matter how "metro" I dress Jade he is truly a boy! We've had our share of dirt, and this past weekend, sand of which I am still washing out of his hair!

Now Us- Mainly besides working M-F we come home on the weekend and work on the house. We are planning on putting it up for sale next month. I love this house but it just isn't big enough for all that we've gathered since having Jade as well as Jason's job transfer to Siemens in Dallas we really need to be more centrally located. Besides coming home at the end of the day everything else we do is 20 minutes away. We've been looking at homes- but first and foremost need to sell ours. These last two weekends we have been working on our backyard- re-sodding! And Jason will be re-staining the deck. (Jason made the comment that he's afraid that we're gonna fall in love with this house all over again- which I already have) From the deck you can see the sky line of downtown ft. worth- at night beautiful! Any who I will be posting more on our projects- if you will as they come around.

Let's try again....

So, over a year ago I started this blog that a friend suggested I do- and I successfully got 3 blogs posted and Christmas 2006 came and I never returned. My wonderful husband was going through our "saved" links and said, "uh, might want to catch up?" So that brings me here now. I created a new link- we're starting out fresh. We have been so busy that there is just tons of new things Jade does everyday to blog about and for me to remember. I enjoy reading my friends blogs weekly because we don't see them all the time- and I get to see her precious girl and what's new with them- I truly enjoy it. I hope this excites all of you like it does me!! We'll start with a family picture of us from Christmas that I just adore.
