Case of the Crazys!!

With the holidays all around us we all have been off of our routine and well, gone crazy!! So to show our wild sides here some around the house silly moments lately. Jade who feeds Sebastian decided to put just some of Sebastians food in his water bowl to float- he called it ceral! And go figure Sebastian liked it! Then we've been letting Jade take pictures with my camera- he's getting good- he took the pic of Brooklyn and I on the floor. Then for some reason one day we lost control of parenting skills and let Jade jump off the couch onto Daddy's back. But hey it's fun to let loose every once and a while. (Hince why Jade's face is blurred out... he was in mid-air!) Then shaving like Daddy. We let Jade use all of his Thomas the Train shaving cream and it turned his bath green. Jade loved it! And all along Miss Brooklyn napping on in her jungle gym. She's so pretty!! These are the days we live for!!

Mr. Turtle

Jade got a sea turtle from Auntie Carla for Christmas and boy are we attached!! It really is the coolest thing. And I should have known- the second he opened it he hugged it and said, "I love you turtle" Buds from the beginning! The turtles head, stomach and legs are stuffed and soft but the shell of the turtle is hard and has little star cut outs and one moon.... and it lights up! It acts like a night light and also creates a galaxy on the wall! So Mr. Turtle has been our bed time pal since Christmas. Well the 1st 2 nights Jade woke up at 5am and the next night 4am. (Both times going back to sleep luckily) I think he woke up in the middle of the night and turtle was on and he wanted to play. Mr. Turtle needs an auto off button/timer. So with creative picture taking- yes this was a challenge to capture. I now introduce Mr. Turtle!! (A couple things to notice- in bed he sleeps with tons of stuffed animals/toys along with 2-3 blankets in addition to his comforter and lastly he is playing with his new "Mommy" whale - look at my sweet boy!!)

Christmas Day part 2

We had Christmas with Jason's parents and sister on Saturday-and what a wonderful day!! We drove over in our PJ's and really had a Christmas Day! Jade was really into opening presents this day and Brooklyn was actually awake for the majority of the time we opened gifts. Sorry no pics yet- I thought I had forgotten my camera but come to find out it was at the very bottom of Brooklyn's diaper bag so I'll have to steal some! But I'll update this post soon. Jade had asked Grandma for a whale... and though he was talking about a real one- he was so relieved to see his whale set! Jade got some race cars a tent and drawing table. And not to forget the cool Plasma car that was Jade's gift but Jason has adopted along with the remote control race cars... boys!! Grandma hooked him up! They have as many toys there as we do at our house. It's a lovely thing! We ate a delicious lunch and hung out. Shirley, Jason, and Dagne played football outside while Cherie and I talked away (Jade and Brooklyn napping). Pretty much the norm.! After the Jade woke up from his nap we built his tent. We had picnics and flash lights to help set the camping mood. Too much fun. I always look forward to our family gift- this year dinner with the whole family restaurant of choice. I'm looking forward to it!!

Christmas Day

Santa was good to us all this year. 1st we are so lucky and blessed to have such a wonderful family to spend time with. Christmas day my parents from Houston were here as well as my brother. We enjoyed there visit-yet it was short. It always seems that way whether it be 7 days or 3 days. The tree was overflowing with gifts and so was my heart. Brooklyn's 1st Christmas! It was so fun to watch Jade open gifts. Everything was so exciting! And what an awesome Daddy we have- Jason had to open a "build" every toy the second Jade opened it. Dad was a busy man! Yet he also enjoyed opening his gifts. I think his favorite was from Jade-"Yea- Go Steelers!!" (They always say that to each other) A side note... I told Jason that I would put a Steelers decal on my car if he got me a Tahoe... well no Tahoe so no permanent decal so a licence plate cover! He's very proud of it! My Dad did something I have never seen- bought my Mom diamonds for Christmas her face was priceless and I was overjoyed for her. Jade got too many toys to count they are overflowing the toy boxes in his room. Jason surprised me with a Coach wallet that I love! And Miss Brooklyn now has a new outfit for every day this winter! I cooked a ham and turkey with some sides and then we all tuckered out for the day! I love Christmas Day!! Yes, the materialistic things are nice but we always take time to remember the true meaning of Christmas. Happy Birthday Jesus!

Christmas list

At our house we have been talking Christmas lists for ugggh a month... or longer... we wanted to be able to share to holiday spirit with Jade and tell him all about Santa. Boy does he know! But I'm thinking his requests were unlike like a normal 2 1/2 year old his list included a toy dinosaur but this one- walks and eats a leaf (and cost $299.00!!!! ahhh!), he wants a camera like Mommy's, etc. you get the idea.... well today Jade and I drove the neighborhood to look at Christmas lights and then headed to McDonald's to pick up dinner. Well he informed me that he no longer wanted the dinosaur (you could see relief in my face... since he wasn't going to get the one that he really wanted due to cost!) but Jade wanted a humpback whale and a pond to put it in. He told Daddy when we got home and proceeded to tell Dad that he should get a turtle and I should get a bear. Well wouldn't we be set! So how do you full fill that list???!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS YA'LL!!

For those of you both near and far- we're so blessed to have you in our lives. We think of you often and wish you a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
From our family to Yours,
Jason, Holly, Jade, and Brooklyn

ICE!!

Brrrrr.... Jason and I went to the Gaylord Hotel in Grapevine for our date night Friday night! Dinner and ice sculptures... then coffee and cake! We had fun! Ice carvers from China come in and make this masterpiece. They keep it well below freezing in there (of course to keep the ice from melting). We were given these huge jackets to wear with hoodies- but no gloves... hello!! Anyway it was truly the coolest thing we'd seen in a while. We took tons of pictures-here's a few.

Catching up.... Brooklyn's bath!

If you haven't noticed!! (3rd post in 10 mintues!) This one is LONG past due- Brooklyn's first bath!! She loves her baths and just sits there and pokes out her buddah belly!! Classy! It took Brooklyns belly button a whole month to fall off so she had been getting sponge baths in the sink before hand. Anyway- Jade always enjoys helping give Brooklyn her baths. Take a peek!

Hanging out around the house

The other day it was pretty cold outside- so we just hung out at the house. As you will see Jade has become quite the helper (ha!) or at least he thinks so. His new favorite is to clean dishes.... and cook! (Pretend cook that is) The pics are of Brooklyn obiously sleeping on me sitting up- silly girl and Jade cleaning dishes!

My sweet babies!

Jade loves it when Brooklyn looks at him- yesterday morning I said, "Jade- look Brooklyn's looking at you" He got sooo excited and went over and hugged and kissed her. Seriously the sweetest thing ever. Brooklyn loves her Big Brother! He can calm her down faster than anyone. I love watching the bond that they are already creating! A couple pics of the sweetest moments. (Look how much bigger Brooklyn's getting!- And she's starting to smile at us!!)

Wednesdays

So today is Wednesday and Wednesdays have always been Jade and Mommy days... well until Brooklyn arrived. We used to go out all the time and have McDonalds for lunch- go to the park-or the mall and play in there play area- a play-date with a friend- or go shopping.... now we stay at home. I'm sure as Brooklyn gets older we will venture out. So Jade had been telling me all last week, "But Mommy, I want to stay at home with you"- too sweet. He keeps asking me lately when I drop him off at school if I am going to work. I reply with, "No Mommy needs to clean house (or) run errands." I have to be very honest- I don't want to go back to work. I have enjoyed staying home with my kids so much more this time. And I don't know how this house will stay clean or the laundry get done when I do return.... but I'll just continue to enjoy the time I have left... less than a month :(
Today Jade cracked me up:
Me- "Jade after you eat your lunch it's time to take your nap"
Jade- "Ok Mommy- if fer say so" (Translation- If you say so)
If everyday was that easy!!
Well Brooklyn is squeeking- it's 11pm- last feeding before 5am!

Christmas Time

Christmas is almost here! I can't wait to enjoy the joys with Jade along with Brooklyn's 1st Christmas! What a beautiful present we have! Our children are the most beautiful things in the world to us! We have been doing some seasonal things- Jade and my favorite is driving around looking at Christmas lights! I bought a 'Kids Carole's' CD so we can sing songs next time- I can't wait! Jade's favorite song is Jingle Bells. Last Thursday Jade's school had a Christmas program where each class room sang songs at a local church. It was the cutest thing ever! Espeically Jade! Mr. center of attention! I will have to learn how to upload videos- you've gotta see this! It was a very fun time. Today Jason took off and we enjoyed a day together without the kids to do our Christmas shopping. And we got so much done! Jason was so proud of me that I stayed "focused" I ran off track once with a purchase at Childrens Place- but who doesn't buy a shirt on sale for $1.82??!! Yea me! End result is Thursday with a gift wrapping party- so come on over! We took our family holiday picture and I got our letter and Christmas card out in the mail today!Well I will leave you with a few pics

Long time... Long post

Well it's been a while and it's been busy! I need to devote some time everyday/every other day to writing. for me, for my babies, for my family, for my friends. Like a friend said- like my daily journal. Ok so on to what your here for- an update! To start- Brooklyn is a month old already! She is developing her own personality and I fall more in love everyday- she is my little girl! I'm going to back up in time to highlight on some things that have happened in the past month.

When Brooklyn was 2 weeks old- she got hit with Jade's sippy cup... not sure where it hit her but it landed at her feet in her swing. Jason and I were both in the kitchen finishing up cooking dinner and all of a sudden she screams- and we go to get her and there is Jade's cup at her feet. So asking Jade what happened he said that he threw his cup and it hit her on her foot... who knows where exactly but she was fine. Just scared us all.

Jade does truly love his sister. He is the first to tell someone "This is Brooklyn" if they look at her and if you ask him who that is he replies with "Miss Brooklyn"

Jade has adjusted pretty good. At first he was throwing toys alot but we quickly put that to an end. He is learning patience now. If I am to busy when he needs me he says, "Hey Mommy, or Daddy, or Mommy" (like whoever's attention i can get) Then Jade had a week of telling me "Don't feed her- put her in her swing" but I simply explained that I feed him and now it's Brooklyn's turn to eat- that she needs to get big and strong so she can play trains with him. That worked pretty well- along with a long story from Jade replying that he understood. He cracks me up with his responses.

The weekend before Thanksgiving Mamaw came to visit for 3 days. That was a good change. And nice to have an extra hand around. And I felt more confident to venture out of the house to a store with both Jade and Brooklyn.

The whole week of Thanksgiving we had family in from Colorado. What a blessing they are. Jade just loved having them here to play with him. I also had my first "break" from Brooklyn- and we got out the bottles. So I had some help with feeding her. She doesn't like the bottle very well. And not a fan of the pacifier. But we are working on it. While to "Colorado crew" were here we went shopping at the malls. And loved every bit of it. They stayed a good 5-6 days and we were all soooo sad to see them go home. But we are already making travel plans to go visit them soon (maybe April-May?!)

Me not being a stay at home kinda gal- Brooklyn and I have been out and about- since she was 2 weeks old. And lets say that I have some training to do! She does not like to shop as much as Jade and Mommy do! Brooklyn cries throughout the stores. Agh!! Yes, I am the Mom with the crying baby- everyone stares- it's embarrassing. Jade was never like that. But I am getting the hang of it all. I bought a sling to carry her in and she loves it.

And schedule already?!! I love it! Brooklyn fights her sleep alot-but the girl can sleep!! She pretty much sleeps through the night. The first 2 weeks she would wake up at 2ish and eat and then back asleep til 8am- but now.... she goes to bed about 11-12 at night and wakes up at....... 7ish in the morning!!! Did I mention- I love it!

I have started to supplement with formula and she's not so happy about that but she tolerates it. And I think the little bit of formula she gets at night is helping the sleeping.

I just sent out her birth announcement's- a little late on the subject but non-the-less they got done.

Jade is developing his big brother skills. We ask Jade "Is Brooklyn ok" and he'll says "Yeah, she just said aaaah!" and he copies the sounds she makes" Which is normally a quick little sound as she is starting to coo. However tonight on the way home Brooklyn was all out crying- and Jade out of no where says "Brooklyn says aaaaahhhhhaaahhhhhhaahahhhhhhahahhhhhhhh......" and he mimics her crying. Jason and I cracked up! Jade also loves to hug and kiss his sister. He got all excited the other day when he walked in from a day at school. He said, "Grandma, look Brooklyn's home!!!" (And if you know Jade he screams it) And runs up to her and hugs her in her swing. Yes, the cutest thing ever!

I love my babies!

Jason and I went out for the first time since Brooklyn's been born for both of our office Christmas parties. It was nice to get out. And Grandma's survived watching both the kids!

Brooklyn is growing fast! We weighed her on a home scale today and it appears she is 11 1/2 lbs. already! What a tubba baby! She goes to the Doctor Jan. 7th.

I have very much enjoyed playing dress up with Brooklyn's clothes- she looks best in purple. And the big bows make the outfit! .... Question- should I be offended if some stranger asks, "Is that a boy or girl" or assumes she's a boy and says, "What's his name- or- how old is he"? (Keep in mind that I have a pink and brown polka dot and paisley car seat cover and diaper bag- Brooklyn is wearing pink or purple clothes with a huge bow and normally a flower bow in her hair) Maybe it's just me?!

We have our lights on our house and the tree is up- looking forward to Christmas- our first Christmas with baby Brooklyn! Gotta get to writing our Christmas letter... things to do!
(just one pic- I need to upload the rest!)

Hospital Pics

The hospital comes out and takes some newborn pics- here's Brooklyn's. Geez- she's already changing!! LOOK AT OUR PRETTY PRINCESS!!

BROOKLYN REESE!!!

IS HERE! We went in for our scheduled induction on Wednesday November 5th at 6am. Just like with Jade- Jason and I holding hands and laughing! We get checked in they start my IV and start the potocin. The Doctor comes in around 10am and breaks my water and the games begin. After 12 hours of labor (with my epidural- which I love!) I was informed by the nurse to start pushing at 4:15pm. A couple "practice" pushes and we call the Dr.- she pops in and for about 5 contractions I push and out she comes! (So SO So much easier this time around than with Jade- for those of you who have forgotten I pushed for 2 1/2 hours with him) She was so petite- though weighing in at 8lbs 7ounces. Born at 4:35pm- and as perfect as can be. I was so surprised to see her look soooo much like Jade- but with girly features. She makes us a perfect family of 4!

Brooklyn's Dr. checked her out and said she looked perfect- however due to come "complications" seen on my 20 week sonogram he ordered a heart and brain sonogram on her. 1st we got the results from the brain scan back and it looked perfect. The heart scan came back with "normal heart changes for an infant" but all in all- everything is great!! Jason and I were so glad that her Dr. wanted these scans done on her- just for added closure.

We are so happy and blessed to have our happy- healthy baby girl!

Brooklyn's Room pics!

Finally- I have some pics to share of Miss Brooklyn's room. It's pretty much done- but not 100%! Yikes I have 2 weeks to make it perfect!

Little Dr. update... The last 2 times I've gone to the Dr. I have expected an induction date but the Dr's had different plans. They checked me when I was 36 weeks- and nothing. I had my strep B test- and I passed! No antibiotics needed at delivery. 1 less thing to worry about. I am now 37 weeks and going to the Dr. every week. This next week I will be seen 1 day shy of 38 weeks (I go on Wednesday) so according to my Dr. she will check me and we will schedule my induction for the next week!!!!! She says she will take her 1 week before she's due. Meaning the sometime between November 3rd through the 7th she will be here- if she doesn't "fall" out before. (Jason thinks I'm bigger with Brooklyn than I was with Jade....Grrrreat!) My Dr. did say that "she is a nice size baby" and proceeded with "You know your 1st wasn't a little peanut either."

"That's cute for Brooklyn"

Jade is going to be such a great BIG Brother!! We are putting the final touches on both the house and Brooklyn's room. We have less than a month to go!! So- Jade and I have been hitting the craft stores buying things to decorate her room as well as baskets for her toy box and storage. Every time Jade sees something pink or small he says, "Momma, that's cute for Brooklyn!" It melts my heart every time he says that.... and the smart little guy he is, he has noticed that most of the time when he says that I buy it. Therefore it's turned into- (pointing to one thing and then another) "Momma, that's cute for Brooklyn, Momma, that's cute for Jade!!" Jade has been "helping" get ready for Brooklyn- we spend most of the days in her room. Once the room mainly finished I will post a pic of the princesses room!

Dr. Appt Update...

So I went to the Dr. today AND.... somewhat uneventful but thought I'd share what she said. While measuring my stomach and feeling the baby's position she said, "WOW, I'm surprised to see you this low at this gestational age (I was 33weeks and 6days)- Your really down there!" I respond with, "Are you telling me I have good news" She says, "I'd say so!" The Dr. also said that after I reach 34 weeks (tomorrow!) if I go into labor they do not stop it! So after this weekend- time to pack our bags!! Brooklyn has a great chance of showing her beautiful face in October!!!
A little update on why I'll be waiting until this weekend- tomorrow we are getting new carpet in Jade and Brooklyn's rooms (due to lots of PINK paint on the carpet in Brooklyn's room) and this weekend Jason is installing are hardwood floors! Agghhhh- I'm going crazy knowing that she could come any day and I still have yet a million things to do to get ready for her!

Bye-Bye Paci ?!?

We have been trying to get Jade to separate from the good 'ole pacifier. He was getting his 2 year old molars in last week so we gave in for comfort. But on a normal day he only uses it for nap and bedtime. We have been telling Jade that we need to give our paci to Brooklyn when she's born because paci's are for babies and she will cry. Then we started talking about "mailing" our paci's to Houston (where my Mom and Dad live) to the babies there that are crying. Our friend Vanessa over the weekend was telling that she cut off the tip of her son's paci and then he didn't want it. All of these great ideas.
But who's better than Super Nanny??
Last night after dinner we were watching Super Nanny and she was helping a couple older kids (4 or 5 yrs old) get rid their paci's by finding them all around the house and putting them in a jar.... so TOTALLY Jade's idea "I want to put my paci in a jar!" I hopped up and found a jar and around the house we go. Now Jade only really has one paci but I found some of his infant paci's so he would feel like we went around the house to find all of them too. Jade proceeds to put the lid on the jar and puts the jar in his room on his shelf. Jade said, "I don't need paci anymore- I'm a big boy"!!!!!! HORRRAYYYY!! So last night (after of course a couple reminders that he didn't need paci and they were in a jar) Jade successful slept in his bed last night without paci. When he woke up this morning Jade asked Daddy "where's my paci?" Jason reminded him "Paci's in jar" and Jade was ok- ate his breakfast and off to school he went!!
Super Nanny saves again!! That was sooo much easier than I thought it would be.

Whata Night!

So it's 10pm and I should be in bed- being prego and all- however I am worried about Jade... to start Jade got his new big boy trundle bed 2 weeks ago and has been doing excellent sleeping in it! He hadn't fallen off and loved his new bed- so we figured that we could skip the whole bed rail stage... well- last week we had one incident where he fell off cried and went back to sleep. Yesterday morning Jason heard him crying "Daddy" and was on the floor- obviously fell off the bed. Well this morning I go in Jade's room to wake him up and he's not on his bed. He was sound asleep on the pillows I had laid on the floor. Again, fell off the bed.... ahhh, so tonight I went to Babies R Us and bought bed rails before we occur a broken bone. So it's 9pm and Jade was about to go to sleep- Jason is installing Jade's bed rail and Jade walks (or runs) in his room, trips over the big pillows on the floor and slams right into the wall. OOCH! He cries so hard and finally settles down. (I had just gotten finished reading in my Parents magazine the article "When to call the Doctor" and so I re-read the section on head trauma) Jason and I decide he's ok but will keep him up for a little while to watch him. Jade loving his new bed is now jumping on his bed and rolling around- I step out for 2 seconds and Jade is crying so hard again- his nose looks all smashed and he proceeds to tell me that now his head, nose, and chin hurt. All over evaluation happens and so we were all laying in our bed watching Jade's favorite Olympic sport- swimming. I was ready to go to the Dr.- Jason tried to convince me that he is ok. So needless to say Jade is asleep now and I am worried sick about him!! These Boys!!! And yes, Jade got a big shiner on his forehead!!

Surprise Dr. Appt

I was having some cramping/weird feeling stuff so I called the Dr. today and she wanted to see me. Since I had pre-term labor with Jade at like 27-28 weeks they did a pre-term labor test and a test for leaking fluids all were negative (good). But she did want to do a sonogram to check the amount of fluid. And I've been told I'm having the pressure and pains due to increased time spent on my feet- therefore I need to "take it easy and stay off my feet" (Great- just want Jason wanted to hear) Sooooo... Jason luckily had met me there (simply because he's been on me to "take it easy" and wanted to hear straight from the Dr. what she said- he thinks I've been coating things.... So the sonogram. I had asked the sono tech to double check the brain and the heart for the conditions that the specialist had mentioned to us. The cystic spots in the brain usually go away in most pregnancies by 24 weeks. And today I mark 25 weeks on the dot. So to much relief the cystic spots in the brain ARE GONE!!!!! You could see the light in Jason and I's eyes when she said that! What an answered prayer!! Of course when checking the heart the calcium deposit is still there but it is not suppose to go away. I just wanted to make sure it was still in the same spot and not getting bigger. And it looked fine and normal.
Had to share the exciting news~
Come on November we want to meet you Brooklyn!!!

Thanks to everyone for your continued prayers for Brooklyn!

22 1/2 week Prego Pic!

Long pass due... guess that's natural with baby #2. I think when I was pregnant with Jade I took a prego pic every week. With Miss Brooklyn, well we have 2 (one at 10 weeks and now one at 22). But either way- we have pictures! Also a little tid bit about Jade reacting to my growing belly. Last night he was all excited due to my birthday and all the sweets he had. Jade was running around the house and then wanted "Momma up" as I was sitting in a chair. I would pick him up and he would squirm in my lap. I told him he had to be carefully 'cause Brooklyn was in Mommy's tummy. Well I guess overnight it set in. Jade was laying in bed with us this morning and being ohhhhh so sweet and cuddly. He said, "Momma, Brooklyn's in belly- beee careful" And then kisses my belly button. (of which is close to an outtie now). What a sweet little brother. And the blah face I have in the pic- well my husband just "takes pictures" he doesn't warn you- like ok- smile??!!

Summer Fun!

We have been busy at least 3 times a week at Grandma's house swimming! Jade is doing soooo well! He- since last year has been able to jump from the side to Dadda. Now we count so Daddy is ready... 1...2...5!! (So maybe we need to work a little more on counting!) Grandma bought Jade goggles and water shoes and he now will stand on the steps and bend his knees to go underwater. He is always so proud of himself when he comes up- "I go underwater!!" This child has no fear of water! And of course I had to show off some awesome underwater pics of Jade! Hope you all are enjoying the summer sun too!!

Jade's 1st haircut!

We loved his curls but they were getting a little long- so it was time to get his haircut. As a normal 1st haircut we have out moments. We cried at first and Daddy had to hold his hand the whole time- but overall Jade did great! We took him to a place called Cool-Cuts for Kids. So they of course had cool things to entertain him. Jade got to sit in a firetruck during his haircut and also was watching a Dinosaur movie. The best though- we got a sucker when he was done!! What big boy he is becoming! He looks so handsome with his new do!

High-Risk Dr. Appt.

Jason and I visited a high-risk Dr. yesterday (July 2, 2008) for a more detailed sonogram. Little Brooklyn has cystic spots (or spinal fluid) on her brain- and yesterday we found out that she also has a calcium deposit in one chamber of her heart. Both increasing our risk of down syndrome. However we got "good" news yesterday- The cystic spots are getting smaller even since last weeks sonogram (which most of the time happenes- they should go away completely by 24 weeks and all will be good) The calcium depoit in the heart only happens to about 5% of babies and they don't know why. You and I have calcium deposits in our heart and they do no harm to us. Most babies get them after they are born- it's just rare for a fetus to get them. But it's not suppose to cause any heart trouble now or even later in her life.On the upscale of things- my blood work came out excellent, we don't have family history of down's- and as you all know Jade is a smart 2 year old! Therefore these things will hopefully pass and Brooklyn will be a normal baby. We are of course still nervous about this because nothing is 100% until she's born. Please keep Brooklyn in your prayers. We pray that she's a happy healthy little girl. We love her so much already!

Love,
Jason, Holly, and Jade Loff

P.S. We got some amazing sono pics from this Dr.- he has an amazing machine. Here's a few to share of our Princess!

It's A....

GIRL!!! I am soooo excited!! I can finally add some pink back into my life! Ha! Jason thought baby was a boy and you should never mess with "Mom's intuition!" We plan to name her Brooklyn Reese! I have the crib bedding picked out just time to start buying! I can't tell you how fun it will be to dress this princess!

SURPRISE!!

We're Pregnant!!

So this is a long pass due post- with good reason. Most of you know already- but I was just able to share the news with my Mom and Dad. They live in Houston and Jade and I were planning on flying down to see them- but the airlines were going through inspection problems and I was afraid to get stuck. So we didn't fly- trying to think of something creative- I waiting until Mother's Day. I sent my Mom one of those recordable cards and shared the news- I wanted to tell her "in person" like we did with Jade. Anyway, so we are so super excited about this baby! As of today I am 14 weeks. Baby is due November 14th. However I went to the Dr. today and she said that because Jade was a big baby and I was 2 weeks late with him if baby doesn't come on it's own she is inducing me a week earlier than my due date! I was glad to hear that! So should have a baby by November 7th! I have had 2 appointments and both have gone great! The first appt. we went to I was 10 weeks and we got a sonogram (see picture below) heartbeat was 189 then. Today heartbeat was 170! I'm thinking girl! We will find out late June what baby is! I'll keep ya posted!

Finally Pictures....

To go with the post below... These computers- ahhh! Enough said. The pictures include our outting with Thomas the Train, Jade's black eye, and going to school....

1st of all Jade loves his school. He had about a 2 week period of going but I think we are over that. They do so many fun things at school. They play outside, play with paints, color, see the goats (the school has 3 pet goats that play on the playground with the kids- super cute!). And on top of all of that Jade does not nap!! He is such a good napper. At the house and at Grandma's he naps for 3 hours. Therefore Jade is one tired cookie after school. Many times he has fallen asleep on the couch and even the floor! Silly boy!
